Carr Resources, Inc. moved its attention in Oklahoma from the Spiro-Wapanuka play to the new Woodford Shale play in the Ardmore Basin. The main operator in the basin is XTO which has accumulated virtually all of the acreage in the basin through leasing and the purchase of production and the leases of other operators. The position which Carr has secured is a minority interest in thirteen sections which are operated by XTO. XTO has proven to be an efficient and excellent operator. Eleven wells have been drilled to date in these sections with favorable results. It is anticipated that six to eight wells will be drilled on each section over the coming years.
